Welcome to the Great Canadian Science Adventure

This brand new exhibit project is a collaborative exhibit development project led by the Canadian Association of Science Centres  (CASC). It is an exhibit that looks at Canada - from space, from under the ground, through the eyes of the scientist. It will be a walk through and over Canada, with activities and exhibits that unify diverse subjects with depth, insight, and humour.

The common thread for this exhibit is the bird\'s eye view from space, celebrating the physical nature of the land and the Canadian ingenuity that allows us to harness the power, live with the land, cross great distances, and view ourselves from space. It is a celebration of us, a fun look at where we live. 

The exhibit celebrates Canada through the lens of science and scientific accomplishment. It showcases great Canadian invention, innovations, and scientific breakthroughs, as well as the people who made it happen. In doing so, it casts light on the country itself, helping us explore and understand the Canadian landscape. 

This website describes the Great Canadian Science Adventure  (working title) visitor experience, from individual exhibits to the theatre.  From this website,  you can watch the development of the exhibit as we move from concept to fabrication to the big launch and tour!
