Indus Space has entered into an exciting new contract with PLASP Child Care Services, the after school program across Peel Region. As part of their enrichment pilot program, Indus Space will facilitate multi-week sessions that introduce PLASP youth to the wonders of space exploration using hands-on learning.
Through this new opportunity, Indus Space has helped youth understand and get excited about the recent 2024 solar eclipse. They have also introduced PLASP youth to the GenAction initiative, CASC’s youth climate action outreach program.
To date they have facilitated sessions at 7 schools and reached approximately 175 youth.
