FIRST Tech Challenge - TELUS World of Science – Edmonton

TELUS World of Science – Edmonton’s robotics team gives youth the opportunity to design, build, and program a robot to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge. Through this program, participants have developed life and career skills, and used these skills to create positive social impact in the wider community.

Junkyard Playground - TELUS Spark

Junkyard Playground is an outdoor play area with no adults allowed. Based on the "Risky Play" philosophy, inside the junkyard you'll find curated construction materials, real tools (saws, hammers, etc) for kid-directed building and play experiences that are messy, creative and free.

STEAM Effect Project - Ingenium – Canada Science & Technology Museum

The STEAM Effect Project is a 12-week immersive program designed to engage traditionally underserved youth between the ages of 12 and 17 in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) and to encourage them to pursue higher education and careers in these fields.

Tech Up - Science World British Columbia & The Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre

Through Tech-Up, we are enhancing current province-wide programs for students and teachers to include coding and computational thinking. Science World and the Exploration Place have “teched up” their programs, working with school districts, libraries, classroom teachers and students to support applied skills and technology curriculum and other curricular competencies related computational thinking and digital literacy.

Adult Speaker Series - The Exploration Place Museum and Science Centre

On the second Monday of the month, from September to June, a small crowd gathers in the evening at Exploration Place to listen to a researcher from UNBC describe their work in an open and accessible fashion for the general public.

Curious Creatures: From the Travels of Robert Ripley - Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

Robert Ripley set out to uncover the world’s most unusual, awe-inspiring creatures and artifacts from around the globe. Guests walk in the footsteps of this modern-day Marco Polo at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada’s new Curious Creatures: From the Travels of Robert Ripley exhibit.

Imaginarium - TELUS World of Science — Edmonton

In August 2018, TELUS World of Science Edmonton (TWOSE) opened the reimagined S.P.A.C.E. Gallery and state-of-the-art Zeidler Dome theatre. Together, these spaces provide a renewed astronomy and space science experience that encourages our visitors to consider the wonders of the night sky and the human innovation that make exploration possible.

Indigenous Ingenuity - Montreal Science Centre

Indigenous Ingenuity is an interactive quest exploring Indigenous innovations from across Canada. Through a series of entertaining interactive activities, this 500 m² exhibition sheds light on the ingenuity of the First Peoples and their influence on society.

Inspiring NATURE, Inspired TECHNO - J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity

The interactive exhibit highlights innovative technologies used in transportation inspired by nature. This thematic reaches novices and experts alike; nature lovers and technology aficionados. Presented in Valcourt, QC, the exhibit will go on a Canadian tour in May 2019.

Under the Same Stars: Minwaadiziwin - Science North

Under the Same Stars: Minwaadiziwin, is a planetarium experience exploring the night sky. The show is a legacy of stories that celebrates Indigenous people and explores the seasonal changes in the night sky through the telling of Anishinaabe, Cree and Oji-Cree stories of the visible constellations.

Boreal Bathrooms Experience - Saskatchewan Science Centre

Imagine yourself surrounded by the northern boreal forest. The light moving between the trees, hearing birds singing, and sensing yourself as part of the forest. Now imagine you are experiencing this inside a bathroom! This is a new visitor experience at the Saskatchewan Science Centre.
