Sudbury Food Bank will be rolling into the holidays thanks to an in-kind donation from Science North – a van filled with donations collected by staff at the science centre.

Guy Labine, Science North CEO, presented the van to food bank executive director Dan Xilon on Friday.

“We are thrilled to receive this special gift from Science North today," Xilon said in a release. "The Science North team has always been a generous supporter of the (food bank) in many ways over the years.  I guess you can say it’s a scientific fact that the spirit of giving is alive and well at Science North."  Read more
