As the co-founder of Beakerhead, a charity organization that runs programs year-round to advance education at the crossroads of art, science and engineering, Mary Anne Moser has more than 25 years of experience in entrepreneurial roles, including working for a variety of not-for-profit organizations. Recently, she has been named President, CEO of TELUS Spark.

“TELUS Spark is ready to take on the future and we are thrilled to welcome her to the organization,” Sheila Leggett, chair of the TELUS Spark board of directors, said in a news release. “As a senior executive and CEO, her record of building innovative, community-based enterprises with high performing, collaborative teams, and her commitment to strong internal and external communications make her the perfect fit to lead TELUS Spark into the future.”

Moser succeeds former president Jennifer Martin, who departed TELUS Spark in June 2018. Martin served as president and CEO since 2008 and helped lead the transformation of TELUS World of Science in the Centennial Planetarium to the 21st century TELUS Spark centre, which opened in 2011.
