Art District Gallery finds temporary home at Kitchener’s THEMUSEUM

KITCHENER — A homeless collective art gallery has found itself a temporary home at Themuseum in downtown Kitchener.

The Art District Gallery, an artist-run, nonprofit collective, hosted its last show in its year-old gallery space at 310 King St. E. over the weekend.

David Marskell, chief executive officer at Themuseum, said he read about the art collective's plight in The Record earlier this month and reached out to the group. Read more
